What You’ll Do

Core / Main Area Responsibilities:

  • Provide SAP Basis technical support for SAP based systems and its integrations in the area of SAP software (SAP ECC6, ISU, CRM, PI/PO, Solution Manager 7.2, BI/BO, NetWeaver) and databases (Oracle, DB2, HANA).
  • Participate and perform required tasks during disaster recovery activities to ensure availability of SAP systems and its integration.
  • Incident and problem management (troubleshooting and suggesting workarounds)
  • Familiar with SPS upgrade, kernel upgrade and patching.
  • Having experience in Operational support for at least 3 years.
  • Troubleshoot complex incident/problems and provide work around for applications of SAP BASIS related.
  • Analyze reported incident/problem before escalation to third level support (SAP OSS)
  • 24/7 standby on-call support for 2 weeks alternate week on monthly basis
  • Maintaining a daily report base on a given checklist
  • Provide insight analysis base on the daily report
  • Standby for Disaster Recovery
  • Change request management
  • B. Key Activities
    Implement technical support for IT infrastructure project in delivering IT systems to support TNB business in term databases (Oracle, DB2, MySQL, MSSQL) system software (SAP ECC6, ISU, CRM, PI/PO, SAP HANA, Solution Manager, BI/BO, Netweaver) and archival software (OpenText, AXS-One, PBS-Link)
  • Implement technical support of IT infrastructure project
  • Co-operate with project team members to fulfill the projects/user requirements
  • Implement technical support for IT Infrastructure to ensure availability and reliability of TNB Business systems, provide technical info related to capacity management, performance management, IT security management related to databases (Oracle, DB2, MySQL, MSSQL), system software (SAP ECC6, ISU, CRM, PI/PO, SAP HANA, Solution Manager, BI/BO, Netweaver) and archival software (OpenText, AXS-One, PBS-Link)
  • Implement systems administration, ensuring systems availability and assisting during capacity planning
  • Follow compliance to ICT Security, Codes of Practice and Guidelines
  • Implement customer service
  • Execute predictive and preventive maintenance programs
  • Apply patches / systems tuning
  • Perform testing and evaluation of products Implement technical expertise during disaster recovery activities to ensure availability of TNB Business systems related to databases (Oracle, MySQL,MSSQL, DB2), system software (SAP ECC6, ISU, CRM, PI/PO, SAP HANA, Solution Manager, BI/BO, Netweaver) and archival software (OpenText AXS-One, PBS-Link)
    • Implement technical details for DR Unit in setting up DR activities
    • Implement technical details for DR Unit to develop or update detailed recovery procedures of DR systems
    • Implement technical details for DR Unit for testing of DR system
  • Implement technical details such as Infrastructure “As Is” and “To Be” Analysis, Bolt On Management, Performance Tuning, system software and database Installs/ Upgrades, Archiving, Hardware Selection/Evaluation, Disaster Recovery Strategy, Printing Strategy, and general SAP Environment Management
  • Execute what have been decided during management meeting for planning, problem resolution, and system performance.
  • Implement technical knowledge and initiate system recovery or problem resolution based on management decision
