What You’ll Do

Experience:

Minimum 7-10 years’ experience in SharePoint Solution, Administration and Configuration specifically (not limited to):

  • Advanced SharePoint skills, Administration & Configuration
  • Microsoft products (SharePoint, Windows Server, SQL Server) and Server Maintenance.
  • Windows PowerShell.
  • SharePoint and Project Server deployment
  • Install and Configure SharePoint Server 2016 and above
  • Install SharePoint Patches and Security Updates.
  • Create Web Applications and Site Collections
  • Manage Content Database and MSSQL Data
  • Plan and Configure Service Applications Manage Users, Group and Permissions Configure Authentication for SharePoint 2016 and above
  • Secure a SharePoint 2016 (and above) Deployment
  • Configure Content Management
  • Manage SharePoint Taxonomy Configure User Profiles
  • Configure Enterprise Search
  • Configure Business Intelligence Solutions Configure and Manage Apps
  • Certification in Advanced Solutions of Microsoft SharePoint Server and other SharePoint-related courses are an added advantage.
  • Performing maintenance of the SharePoint platform, servers, and intranet. Advanced Knowledge in Managing Server Roles and Server Architecture.
  • Reviewing usage and activity reports and making adjustments to ensure optimized user-experiences.
  • Technical and functional design.
  • Install SharePoint Patches and Security updates based on Microsoft Cumulative Updates (CU)
  • Keeping up to date with SharePoint developments and performing version updates and upgrades.
  • Performance Monitoring and Optimization. Maintenance Plan and design a SharePoint 2016 (and above) environment to meet requirements for High Availability and Disaster Recovery.
  • Ensuring sufficient storage space by performing clean-ups and archiving data. Performing data retrieval and backup procedures to prevent data loss.
  • Involved in project implementation of high complexity systems (i.e. workflows, integration with external systems, etc.) with minimum project duration of 6 months.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving SharePoint issues or malfunctions. Troubleshooting Skills (Logs Analysis), Knowledge of SharePoint tools, including ULS Logs, workflows, and SharePoint forms for tasks.
  • Extensive knowledge of Windows operating systems, as well as SQL Server, Power BI, PowerShell, and Office 365.
  • Value added skill for experience in using DevOps tools and functions such as agile collaboration, release management, continuous delivery, code review and test automation.
  • Knowledge and experience in Web Application Security Implementation and Security Assessment Remediation. Experience in managing Disaster Recovery (DR) activity.
  • Fully understand and involved in all Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) stages
  • Excellent Communication and Inter- personal skills, flexible and versatile to new environments, self-motivated a good team player and have worked in multicultural environment.
  • Providing SharePoint support and end- user training.

Scope of Engagement (may include but not limited to :

  • Daily SharePoint issues (if any)
  • Change Request Development
  • Translate the existing reports/programs into Technical Documents
  • Manage roles and authorization. Adding users, controlling access to document libraries, and setting permissions. Develop and manage integration programs/files for external system
  • Provide data as requested by users
  • Implement the patch updates (if any) Involved in any testing/UAT/training/ for any new project/enhancement/initiatives Propose and consult client on any system improvement related to the module
  • Troubleshooting on errors faced in SharePoint and Database
  • Involved in preventive maintenance & Disaster Recovery activities
  • Manage Backup (Schedule Backup) Schedule Weekly Task for SharePoint Back-End Activity (Indexing, Integration, etc.)
  • Provide 24/7 primary application maintenance support; when applicable
  • Provide Solution for managing SharePoint Task using PowerShell.
