What You’ll Do
System Analyst with shift
Minimum 3-5y experience as system analyst
Monitoring of all 7 pillars (Network, Server, Storage, DB, Backup, Solution & Data Center) 1st line of defense and detection
Batch performance execution and monitoring
Good monitoring and initial response to potentially harmful or anomalous activity from a wide range of IT system components and solutions
Good use monitoring tools such as Splunk, Dynatrace, HPIMC and Xymon to oversee that multiple systems are operating within a defined limit
Recommends changes to policies and establishes procedures to the Technical Expert Team for improvement
Able to create charts, reports and system status using existing tools
Analyze and perform actions required to resolve incident tickets and provide detailed documentation
Dashboard reading, interpretation, incident mapping and escalation to the Technical Expert Team
Working with other teams to identify, resolve, and mitigate vulnerabilities in the systems
Produce and review daily, weekly and monthly metrics for security events.
Coordinate all aspects of monitoring and reporting and to ensure that these data is of high quality and produced on time.
Stay up-to-date with trends in the information security community including new vulnerabilities, methodologies, and products.
