What You’ll Do

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or related fields
  • Min 20 years of experience in the telecommunications field, especially in RF and Cellular technologies
  • Leadership competency with good Vision, Business Logic, People Development, High Accountability and Responsibility, Self Motivated and Result Oriented
  • Highly capable of planning, organizing, directing, coordinating, and leading activities of Advanced  Metering Infrastructure (AMI) projects using RF,  Cellular and adapting to other suitable technologies
  • Excellent experience in Project Management,  Team Leading, Reporting to Higher Management  and Key Stakeholders of customers locally and abroad
  • Good knowledge and skill in Project Management  framework to develop, execute and re-evaluate plans with mitigation action for risk and cater to the  situational changes along the project delivery timeline
  • Excellent experience in Resources Planning, Budget Planning, Cost Control, and optimal project delivery ensures that the project is delivered within the agreed budget
  • Excellent Networking skills with Internal Staff & Management, TNB Divisions & Subsidiaries, Telco Operators, Equipment Vendors, and Contractors
  • Very good experience dealing with authorities like  ST, MCMC, CAAM, and Local Authorities (PBT)  Excellent experience in setting up teams and finding the right resources for the project delivery
  • Excellent experience in Equipment Vendor, System  Integrator, and Contractor Management
  • Highly proficient in RF Network, IP Network, Transmission Backhaul, and Telco Planning and  Operation
  • Good knowledge inTelco Pole and Tower Erection and operation work
  • Knowledge of Power Line Carrier technologies
  • Have good experience in Operation & Maintenance and Network Architecture environment to direct improvement of network  topologies and evaluation of new technologies
  • Very good experience in RF Optimization and  Network KPI knowledge
  • Remarkable experience in managing customer expectations.
  • Very good presentation skills and ability to handle requirements from internal management and customer.
  • Excellent experience in delivering TCO and getting  the approval from project owner (DN) for AMI project
  • Good capability to work with minimal availability of  info and manage to forecast the project budget, and price benchmark, prepare, TCO & quotation, prepare tender documents within a short timeframe, and float tender successfully
  • Good ability to support the need of the project team  in identifying and solving the hurdles for the smooth  project delivery
  • Excellent experience in providing guidance and  directions to PMOs and PMs regarding budget  planning, cost control, and budget utilization
  • Good ability to manage and closely follow up with the RF Team on the progress of the Site Survey,  Network Design, and Tuning requirements to meet customer’s expectations
  • Experience in supporting meter deployment and coordinating internal team to successfully get the  meters connected
  • Good experience in establishing good working relationships with AMI team, ES, ICT, CCBD, and  internal departments within TNB-IT
