What You’ll Do
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications or related fields
Min 20 years of experience in the telecommunications field, especially in RF and Cellular technologies Vast experience & deep knowledge in Network planning & optimization in RF, IP, and Core Networks and analyzing network performance and troubleshooting & structured fault isolation
R&D & field experience in SCADA for Power Line Transmission Grid
Good experience in big data analysis. Had a technical paper published in IEEE Explore under the topic of “LTE Speech Train Estimation for Network Dimensioning: UTRAN Traffic Performance Approach”
Experience in managing large projects locally and abroad with subordinates coming from different countries. Excellent ability to dimension team & the requirement of the team & individual skillset.
Excellent technical background and successfully change the initial dimensioning done by Trilliant and adjusted according to the requirement from the client for the official submission and convince customer for approval
Excellent experience in price benchmark and preparing tender documents with short timeframes and float tenders successfully within the budget and closely advising PMO team for Budget Control
Good ability to consult and closely follow up with the RF Team on the progress of the Site Survey, Network Design, and Tuning requirements to meet customer’s expectations
Excellent experience in supporting meter deployment and coordinating internal team to successfully get the meters connected
Good experience in establishing good working relationships with the AMI team, ES, ICT, CCBD and internal departments.
Very good presentation & listening skills for communication
Excellent experience in leading discussions & seeking approval from PBT. Successfully got approval from MBSA, DBKL, MPSJ, and MPAJ Successfully coordinated & lead the presentation with the Civil Aviation Authority of Malaysia (CAAM) and Malaysia Communication and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) for the pole location and pole design approval
Excellent experience and effectively taken a lead role in identifying the scope for Site Survey & Site Build within the project team & make a clarification scope requirement with the contractors
Remarkable experience and knowledge in overall Single Line Diagram for the Site Build design and constantly relooking technical aspects to do improvement based on feedback in the field to cater to the specific environmental condition.
Experience in constantly advising System, RF & Site Build teams on the technical direction needed
In-depth knowledge of pole design in guiding pole manufacturer to finalize the design and modify the design to suit the environmental need
Mentoring and guiding the Meter Analysis team in delivering the Meter Dashboard which is well accepted by the customer
Excellent experience in successfully creating good relationships with the Head of CCBD & putting value in the AMI project
