management
system).
Data
Network Design and Structured Cabling System
Impressive
Communications offers Network Design and Consultancy Services
to our clients including:
-
Physical network design drawing
-
Logical Network Design drawing
-
Routing Protocol
-
IP Addressing design
-
Network redundancy architecture design
Structured
cabling services including:
-
UTP CAT5E and Cat6 structured cabling work and services
-
Singlemode, Multimode 50 and Multimode 62.5 Fiber Optic structured
cabling for
Data
Network (LAN) work and services e.g. installation, termination,
and testing.
-
Other structured cabling services works e.g. racking system,
cable management etc.
The
network installation support service component includes:
Installation
Project Management
Provides expert implementation and project management services
for our customers' Network installation service requirements.
The installation project manager will co-ordinate all aspects
of the installation services, including hardware and software
delivery, equipment installation, configuration, commissioning
and testing of the network as a whole and ensuring the customer's
acceptance of the network.
Staging
test, and pre-configuration
This service allows network systems and equipment to be delivered
to customers in a pre-configured state, simultaneously limiting
the possibility of initial equipment failure. The installation
risk can be reduced by undertaking extensive stage testing,
allowing assumptions to be tested and for multiple scenarios
to be evaluated. The network systems staging service will
deliver equipment that has been subjected to extensive initial
build, testing, recommended configuration and documentation
procedures.
Network
Interoperability Testing
Interoperability Services are designed to deliver a range
of fully featured and flexible testing services. This allows
customers to establish the operational capability of the proposed
network implementations or configuration changes in customer's
live production network environment, constructs a core and
peripheral system allowing for multi-vendor and cross platform
operations and conformity tests.
Installation
services
The Standard Installation Service's offered customers to hook
up their network equipment systems, and verify internal components,
hardware modules and software functionality. This service
shall also implement Customer specific network parameters
in accordance with agreed standards addressing and conduct
system audit procedure to ensure conformity with configuration
standards.
Commissioning
& testing
This service provide resources to test network functionality
from network equipment to systems communication, this is necessary
to ensure the implemented network design run smoothly when
commissioning. Our installation engineers shall verify operational
and functional performance of the network system for compliance
with the "Design Intent" as described in the network
design document.
Knowledge
transfer & training
Installation engineers shall provide informal training during
the installation process, answering questions and sharing
expert knowledge of the network's configuration with customer's
network administrator. This may be a simple run through for
customer's network administrator to familiarize with the newly
installed equipment functionality, or could be a full residential
training course to impart the skills necessary to administer
the new network infrastructure.
Network
Documentation
Impressive Communications network engineer will prepare as-built
installation documents of customer's newly installed network
equipment and infrastructure. This can include any or all
of the following components:
-
Logical network design
-
Logical network connectivity
-
Network addressing scheme
-
Network equipment hardware / module inventory
-
Equipment software configuration / versions
This
service wraps up a complete array of network design and installation
services will make that new installation or expansion maintainable
for customer. All networks require complete and accurate documentation
to assure their reliability and maintainability.
Integrated
Network Management System (INMS)
We provide an enhanced Integrated NMS solution that supports
multi vendor and multi technology network elements covering,
-
Scalable and Robust Management Architecture
-
Integrated Fault Management
-
Root Cause Analysis
-
Performance Management
-
Reporting
-
Integration with provisioning tool Cisco IPSC Ver3.1
-
Event Tracking and Real-Time Event Monitoring on the GSB Network.
-
Event Notifications to the concerned Administrators through
E-Mail and SMS.
-
Maintaining Historical Data for Performance tuning and capacity
planning.
The
Integrated NMS solution will consist of implementation of:
-
Fault management,
-
Performance management
-
Trouble ticketing system
-
Configuration Management
-
Integration of these modules with each other and integration
of these modules -
with the existing element management system (eMS) and NMS
(network
management
system).
The
solution is modular and scalable solution to incorporate future
enhancements in an integrated manner and provides an easy
integration to manage new equipment type, vendors and technology
without affecting the operations or revamping the existing
design architecture.
Solution
Architecture
The Solution Architecture is depicted in the following diagrams
as follows:
The
solution comprises of CIC suite of products for fault management,
Infovista suite of products for performance management, HP
Service Desk for trouble ticketing, and HP Configuration Management.
The proposed NMS solution supports graphically display of
connected network devices from a centralized network management
location, giving network managers a complete view of the network
without physically checking each device at remote sites. The
figure below illustrates an overview of the solution architecture.
